If you’re gonna light something, make it count. Candles are more than home décor — they’re a whole mood, a declaration, a silent prayer that today won’t stress you out.
So yeah, I have rules.
1. Trim your wick and your energy.
Before you light up, trim your wick to about ¼ inch.
You can’t burn bright if your edges are messy.
Every new light deserves a clean start — same goes for you.
2. Don’t blow out your peace too early.
Stop rushing your calm.
Let your candle burn for at least 3–4 hours.
Let things melt how they need to melt.
Slow burn > quick fix.
3. Never relight old wax.
Once a candle’s burned to its edge, let it go.
Wait a few hours or a day before lighting something new.
Some things don’t need to be reheated — not relationships, not habits, not that situationship from last summer.
4. Match your mood, not the moment.
If it’s been a long day, grab something soft and sweet.
If you’re feeling unbothered, go for bold and spicy.
Your scent should fit you, not your stress.
Because at the end of the day, scent is self-respect.
